So many times today we are in need of specialty file formats for CD-ROM,
the Internet, or DVD. CDS Digital will take your final product and convert
it into any format. Whether for video, audio, or graphics we can convert
into most file types. Conversions to QuickTime, WAV, AVI, MPEG 1, MPEG
2, AIFF, PICT, TIFF, or any file format can be converted quickly and
made to look and sound fantastic.
Digital compression of video and audio program material is vital for
preparing content for the Internet and other computer-based applications.
For best results, CDS Digital suggests two types of compression.

MPEG-1 compression - the most commonly used method
for Internet and CD-ROM applications. This method produces video resolution
that is less than full-screen in size and non-broadcast quality.

MPEG-2 compression - the standard used for broacasting,
DVD and other final delivery products. This method compresses multiple
frames of video at the same time, so it is not edit capable. The final
delivery quality, however, can be quite good depending on the bit
rate.
